![]() ![]() “Ceres” is the shortest stage theme, but despite its length, it manages to feature a very strong, energetic melody, plenty of neat synth effects, and an exhilarating beat. It is definitely one of the highlights on the soundtrack. It features a bright, memorable melody accompanied by an intense industrial beat, some crunchy wobbles, and a great space vibe. ![]() The powerful brass combined with the accompanying strings work and pounding electronic beats gives it a very futuristic martial atmosphere as if one is preparing for battle.Like “Starfighting Across the Universe” did for Super Stardust HD, “Acis” sets the tone for the stage themes in Resogun. The soundtrack opens up with “Resogun Main Theme,” a hybrid orchestral/electronic composition that really manages to give off a very epic sound. Does it live up to the high expectations? Body The soundtrack is at last available through Sony Computer Entertainment via the RESOGUN Season Pass. Once again, he delved into the electronic soundscape to provide an energetic and fitting score. Worse yet is how long it takes to kill bosses which further increases the risk of you dying over the course of long, drawn out fights.įor help with individual levels please see their respective trophy walkthroughs. The best-reviewed PlayStation 4 launch exclusive was neither Killzone nor Knack, but rather Resogun, a frantic space shooter from Finnish developer Housemarque. The soundtrack mark s the latest work of Ari Pulkinnen, who has worked with Housemarque in the past on their other Playstation Network games, Super Stardust HD, Super Stardust Delta, and Dead Nation, as well as composed for the fantasy series Trine. To really excel at the ship you must constantly be boosting around, which puts you in danger and will quickly drain your lives. Nemesis is the odd man out because of its ridiculously slow killing speed and high risk play style. The key to playing well with it is a constant rotation between tap boosting and overdrive. The only reason it isn’t the best is due to its very linear attacks that struggles against large groups of enemies, causing you to be overran in no time. The second best ship is undoubtedly the Ferox. However, if you are smart with your overdrive and don’t boost recklessly it is fine. The one down side is the long cooldown on boost. The best aspect of it is the constant use over overdrive that further speeds up killing and saves you in a pinch. It also has a very close range laser attack that further protects you against things that make it within a few inches of you. It absolutely decimates the bosses and has the fastest kill rate of any ship thanks to its exploding rounds. I personally found the Phobos ship to be the best suited for the job. Life #2- Final human, triple stacked squids that you must kill in order, be careful when targeting them Life - 2nd, kill in order enemies, be careful when targeting them Life - 7th, kill in order enemies, be careful when targeting them Life - 8th, kill in order enemies, be careful when targeting themīomb - 4th, kill in order enemies, be careful when targeting them They can be found during the following waves : Luckily the rewards for saving humans is static so you can put forth extra effort on those. The key to success is practice, practice, practice and being diligent about collecting bombs and lives from saving humans. This causes you to do exceptionally well on some levels and struggle on others. What makes this challenging is that there isn’t a ship that excels against every enemy and boss. It doesn’t matter how many total lives you lose so long as you don’t reach the game over screen. To unlock it you must complete all five levels from start to finish, without losing all of your lives, on the Experienced difficulty setting. This trophy is where the majority of your time and effort will be spent on the game. ![]()
